We are a parent-teacher association registered with Texas PTA, run entirely by volunteers. Our mission is simple: make Westside Elementary a place where every child is welcomed, every family feels included, and every teacher feels appreciated.
The PTA partners with Principal Amanda Lillard and the Westside staff to host the events you love, fund classroom needs, and advocate for our school across Leander ISD.

$12 for adults and $8 for students. It funds field trips, student and staff grants, community events, and staff appreciation. Every dollar stays at Westside.
No. Membership and volunteering are separate, though help is always welcome, and helping at a single event is genuinely appreciated.
How do I become an approved volunteer?
Submit the Leander ISD volunteer application, which takes about ten minutes and lasts twelve months. Then fill in our sign-up form to hear about opportunities.
