Westside Garden
A working school garden that students plant and harvest, with a Student Garden Club for 3rd to 5th grade and clean-up mornings anyone can join.
Reflections Art Program
National PTA's arts program. Students respond to a yearly theme in the medium of their choice, and everyone who enters is recognized.
Math Pentathlon
Team-based math games rather than worksheets. Growing the program is one of the board's priorities this year.
And the rest
Spelling Bee, Science Night, Battle of the Bluebonnet, Watch D.O.G.S., Leader in Me, and the student and staff grants that fund classroom ideas.
