Q: When is the deadline to submit artwork?
A: Entries are due by October 31st
Q: What happens after we submit my student's artwork?
A: First, ALL participants will receive a Reflections Spirit Stick! We will also be sharing submissions in a digital art gallery for the Westside community to view (we will ask for permission first before adding your student's work to the gallery). Submissions will also be scored according to the National PTA Reflections guidelines. Based on the scores, some submissions may also be awarded school-level Reflections awards and the top submissions will advance to LISD council judging. By mid January, any submissions that made it to the LISD level will know if they are advancing to the state-wide judging. In February, the Westside PTA will celebrate all Reflections participants at a ceremony during our February PTA meeting and student artwork will be returned.
Q: Can a student submit more than one entry?
A: Yes! Multiple entries are allowed, including multiple entries in the same category (i.e. 2 literature submissions are allowed). A separate entry form is required for each submission.
